Industry accreditation is critical for modern engineering companies, particularly companies that operate in sectors with high-performance requirements such as power generation and oil and gas processing. For Heatric, the accreditation that the company has demonstrates its commitment to quality, safety, and reliability.
The following are highlights of the accreditation and certification that Heatric has achieved:
Lloyd’s Register Quality Association ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 – Heatric has obtained certification from LRQA and utilises these systems to support its processes across the business (Certificate)
ASME R-stamp – Certification that Heatric is approved by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers to make repairs and / or alteration to boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure-retaining vessels (Certificate)
ASME U-stamp – Heatric is certified as a ‘U-stamp’ manufacturer, indicating that it manufactures pressure equipment to the standard determined by ASME (Certificate)
European Pressure Equipment Directive – Heatric’s equipment is (when applicable) certified to the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) regulations. The Pressure Equipment Directive applies to the design, manufacture and conformity assessment of stationary pressure equipment with a maximum allowable pressure greater than 0.5 bar (Certificate)
DNV Certification – Certification by Det Norske Veritas that Heatric is approved for the manufacture of Class I & II welded pressure vessels in compliance with DNV GL’s rules for classification.
British Safety Council Membership –As a member of the British Safety Council, Heatric is able to draw upon the resources and expert guidance of one of the world’s leading health and safety organisations (Certificate)
Republic of China, Special Equipment License – Approval by the China Special Equipment Licensing Office to distribute pressure retaining vessels in the the Republic of China.
Meggitt Production Systems, Silver Level – The Meggitt Production System (MPS) is an internal process based around the principles of lean manufacturing. The silver star (equivalent to many company’s gold standard) is the next level for Heatric, having already achieved the red, yellow, green and bronze stages in MPS.
Heatric’s quality systems and licences also include:
Achilles Joint Qualification System (JQS) – A supplier register and pre-qualification system to manage supplier information in the Norwegian and Danish oil & gas sector
Korean Gas Safety Certificate – Certification that Heatric is registered in compliance with the Korean High-Pressure Gas Safety Control Act legislation
Lloyd’s Register Ship Rules – Certification that Heatric is approved to manufacture Fusion Welded Pressure Vessels in compliance with the Lloyd’s Register Rules for the Classification of Ships
