Principal products

Heatric designs and manufactures highly compact Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers (PCHEs) for use in gas and light hydrocarbon liquids processing (e.g. gas compression cooling and dewpoint control). Characterised as high integrity plate type heat exchangers, they are fabricated from flat metal plates that have fluid flow channels chemically etched into them. The etched plates are diffusion-bonded and headers and nozzles attached to form complete exchangers. Most manufacturing is carried out at Heatric's headquarters at the South coast of England.

Size range

Heatric's largest order has been 300 tonnes. The smallest unit manufactured weighs only six kilos, while the largest single unit weighs 60 tonnes, with assemblies up to 100 tonnes. Our heaviest shop load has been the manufacture of 650 tonnes exchanger weight in nine months. We have the capacity to exceed these sizes.

Track record

Heatric has a proven track record in the design and manufacture of heat exchangers for applications in the oil, gas and petrochemicals industry.In the past 20 years, Heatric's compact diffusion bonded heat exchangers have mainly been applied in gas and light hydrocarbon liquid processing and gas compression cooling, both on- and offshore.
