Product development Heatric has long been associated with the diffusion-bonded heat exchanger. But with growing markets and the new challenges they present, Heatric has developed new manufacturing techniques and processes to extend our existing product line. FPHE (formed plate heat exchanger) The FPHE uses the same concept as the various fin plate heat exchangers but adds the advantage of replacing the brazing process with the diffusion-bonding process. This enables Heatric to manufacture the FPHE in various alloys previously considered both challenging and expensive.
FPHE core assembly. H2X (hybrid heat exchanger) Heatric has been developing a product to integrate the advantages of the existing diffusion-bonded heat exchanger and the FPHE into one product: the H2X. This exchanger offers the high mechanical integrity and high efficiency of diffusion-bonded heat exchangers combined with the large passages (lower pressure drop) and lower weight of the FPHE, using any of our currently qualified materials.
