Applications
Heatric diffusion-bonded heat exchangers are highly compact, highy robust exchangers that demonstrate high integrity for high pressure/high temperature applications. The current nuclear trends are leaning towards better plant efficiency using higher temperature cycles and better fuel consumption using Fast Breeder Nuclear Reactors.
Heatric's exchangers can be designed as IHX (Intermediate Heat Exchanger), Recuperator and Cooler into the following applications:
- gas cooled nuclear reactor in direct or indirect cycles
- liquid metal cooled nuclear reactor in indirect cycle
- molten salt cooled nuclear reactor in indirect cycle
